Sr. Associate Maintenance Planner (Biotech)

What you will do

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work for the Rhode Island site.
• Develop work scopes, resource requirements, and parts requirements for maintenance tasks.
• Write clear job plan steps for maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with manufacturing, engineering, utilities, quality, validation, customers, and craft groups.
• Group maintenance activities to support efficient execution while minimizing operational interruptions.
• Identify and coordinate contractor resources and support project implementation according to timelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus 4 years of mechanical or utilities maintenance experience; or an associate degree plus 2 years; or a bachelor’s degree plus 6 months; or a master’s/bachelor’s degree as stated in the posting.
• Preferred experience includes 5 years in mechanical, utilities, or maintenance support, or 4 years in maintenance engineering support.
• Experience in regulated environments, including cGMP, OSHA, and EPA requirements, with detailed knowledge of cGMPs.
• Mechanical aptitude, analytical problem-solving skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with plant utility systems, process equipment, mammalian cell culture, protein purification, clean utilities, CIP, SIP, production services, and GMP utilities.
• Experience with work forecasting, Microsoft Excel, database querying tools, and Maximo maintenance programs.
