What you will do

• Build and automate mechanical and electrical product test systems for new and existing laboratory systems.
• Develop mechanical mechanisms and generate mechanical parts using CAD software.
• Support wiring, fixture assembly, machining, and test system build activities.
• Perform basic PLC, HMI, robot, and data acquisition programming.
• Debug and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• Collaborate with product development, engineering, and internal and external resources.

Requirements

• Associate degree preferred in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, machine tool technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of circuits, electronics, mechanical and electrical assembly, machining, laboratory equipment, and instrumentation.
• Basic knowledge of 3D CAD; SolidWorks or NX preferred.
• Basic knowledge of data acquisition, PLC, and HMI programming; National Instruments, Allen-Bradley, Click, Groov EPIC, or Mitsubishi preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly, write technical reports, manage projects, solve problems, and work effectively in a cross-functional team.
