Fluids Technician III (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite at hirify.global headquarters. Monday–Friday B shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts.

Hourly pay range: $25–$35 USD.

What you will do

• Build fluids system sub-assemblies for the Archimedes engine.
• Set up and operate CNC tube-cutting equipment.
• Cut, bend, flare, fit, prepare, and assemble tubes from engineering drawings.
• Work with close tolerances and aerospace-grade materials.
• Support daily production operations, workflow, and efficiency.
• Operate safely in a production environment with machinery, noise, and varying conditions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of tube shop experience in aviation, aerospace, or a similar industry.
• Experience working with Inconel, titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Working knowledge of tube-bending technology and close-tolerance work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours, perform repetitive manual movements, and lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 25 lbs.
• For work in U.S. offices, eligibility to access ITAR-regulated technology is required; candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, certain protected persons, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting experience.
• Hands-on CNC tube-bending experience.
• Expertise operating BLM tube benders.
• Advanced experience maintaining close tolerances and handling aerospace materials.
