TL;DR
Python Developer (Python/SQL): Building integrations with external eCommerce APIs and features for a B2B SaaS marketing platform with an accent on reliable, robust, and scalable backend development. Focus on asynchronous I/O, distributed systems, API integration, and delivering code to production.
Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; at least two days per week in the Utrecht office. EU citizenship or a valid work permit for the Netherlands is required. The role requires availability for at least 32 hours per week.
Gross monthly salary: €3,600–€5,000 based on a 40-hour work week.

What you will do
- Research external eCommerce APIs and build Python integrations for customer-facing use cases.
- Own feature and project implementation from initial design through production delivery in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Contribute to code reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and agile software development.
- Improve the reliability and robustness of the application.
- Work with the Google marketing integrations team on Google Merchant Center, Comparison Shopping Services, and large-scale advertising tools.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Python or a strong drive to build with Python.
- Good understanding of HTTP and REST or GraphQL frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and the command line.
- Strong collaboration, critical-thinking, ownership, and learning skills.
- EU citizenship or a valid work permit for the Netherlands; preferably already living in the Netherlands.
Nice to have
- Experience with concurrent applications and asyncio.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- DevOps experience and ownership of the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with the Grafana LGTM stack, including Loki, Grafana, Tempo, and Mimir.
