Medical Director (Dermatology, non-MD)

Location: Hybrid, working onsite 2–3 days per week at hirify.global headquarters in New York City, NY, or Collegeville, PA, United States. Travel of up to 25% is required. Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base salary: $176,600–$294,300, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Plan and execute medical strategies and tactics for hirify.global’s dermatology portfolio, including marketed medicines, clinical development programs, and life-cycle management.
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and fair balance.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Organized Customer, Field Medical, HEOR, Marketing, Training, and other cross-functional colleagues.
• Lead advisory boards, congress-related symposia, congress planning, publication planning, and data-generation activities.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers, professional organizations, patient societies, formulary decision-makers, and key opinion leaders.
• Support scientific exchange, medical education, internal training, data interpretation, and dissemination of clinical and economic evidence.

Requirements

• Advanced degree and relevant experience in dermatology, the pharmaceutical industry, clinical practice, or medical practice, such as a PhD or PharmD with 5+ years of experience.
• Alternatively, 7+ years of relevant experience with an MBA/MS or 8+ years with a BA/BS.
• Leadership experience, including influencing and collaborating with peers, coaching others, and guiding colleagues toward meaningful outcomes.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Specialty training and board certification in dermatology.
• Clinical experience in dermatology or immunology.
• Medical Affairs experience and understanding of clinical trials and drug development.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussion, leading in a matrix organization, and building internal and external relationships.
