Materials Planner

Location: On-site at the hirify.global Operaciones de México manufacturing facility in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, Mexico; remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Ensure material availability in line with production plan requirements.
• Manage supplier delivery schedules and respond to production plan changes.
• Optimize inventory and safety stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete materials.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify supply risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Drive improvements in planning efficiency, transportation optimization, inventory utilization, and supplier collaboration.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics to support data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Experience in materials planning, inventory management, procurement, supply planning, or a related supply chain function.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of inventory management, material planning, supply chain operations, and continuous improvement methods such as PDCA, process mapping, root cause analysis, and Lean principles.
• Power BI expertise, including dashboard development, KPI visualization, data modeling, DAX, and reporting automation.
• Fluent English communication skills.
