Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States. On-site presence is required for in-person work-related events, training, and meetings; a flexible arrangement allows remote work up to two days per week. Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.

Base annual salary: $126,750–$186,000.

What you will do

• Specify, design, develop, integrate, and test electrical modules and tools across the product life cycle.
• Own complex electrical designs end-to-end and coordinate technical dependencies across engineering domains.
• Identify and manage requirements, maintain traceability, and define specifications and interfaces.
• Conduct feasibility studies, make engineering trade-offs, and resolve functionality, performance, cost, and compliance issues.
• Plan and execute verification, validation, testing, and qualification activities to support release readiness.
• Plan work packages, manage risks and dependencies, maintain technical documentation, and coach colleagues as applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, product development, or system integration.
• Experience with electronic design automation, E-CAD, printed circuit board design, electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation, and verification.
• Experience working with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, circuit simulation tools, and laboratory test equipment.
• Experience delivering complex technical systems in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Must be legally authorized to access United States-controlled technology before starting work.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer and PSpice or other circuit simulation tools.
