Executive Recruiter

Location: Hybrid, based in the Burnaby, British Columbia office, Canada

Base salary: $115,300–$173,800 annually, plus corporate bonus potential.

What you will do

• Lead confidential, full-cycle executive searches from intake through offer and onboarding handoff.
• Partner with executive leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to define search strategy, role outcomes, and evaluation criteria.
• Build diverse pipelines for Senior Director, VP, and SVP-level roles across engineering, product, go-to-market, corporate, and other functions.
• Develop sourcing, research, market-mapping, passive-talent engagement, and candidate relationship strategies.
• Assess executive talent through structured, competency-based interviews and prepare candidate profiles, gap analyses, and decision-support materials.
• Use approved AI-enabled tools and recruiting analytics to improve research, documentation, search efficiency, and stakeholder decisions while protecting confidentiality.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive executive search or corporate Talent Acquisition experience, including Senior Director, VP, and SVP-level searches.
• Experience managing complex, confidential searches in a high-growth, multinational technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS environment.
• Recruiting experience across Engineering, Product, GTM, and G&A functions.
• Expertise in executive sourcing, research, market mapping, passive-talent engagement, relationship development, and high-touch candidate management.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, executive-search workflows, recruiting analytics, and talent-intelligence platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
