Talent Acquisition Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Vancouver, hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home per week

Salary: $58,800 CAD OTE, including $51,800 base salary and $7,000 variable compensation

What you will do

• Qualify applicants, conduct initial phone interviews, assess preferences, and schedule interviews for suitable candidates.
• Match educators with roles that fit their preferences and the specific needs of schools.
• Explain the platform’s mission and value to candidates and encourage timely engagement.
• Guide candidates through screening, onboarding, and document collection.
• Conduct proactive daily outreach and communicate with a high volume of applicants.
• Manage a large candidate pipeline while adapting to a fast-paced, changing startup environment.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, recruitment, education, acting or theatre, fast-paced startups, or another results-focused environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort speaking with many people every day.
• Motivation to meet and exceed targets.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, switch contexts quickly, and stay organized.
• Comfort using technology, including Google Suite and AI tools.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
