Specialist Production Planner (SAP)

Salary: USD 98,752.15–133,605.85 annually

What you will do

• Develop and maintain executable production plans in SAP, RapidResponse, and other planning systems.
• Analyze capacity, inventory, campaign sequencing, changeovers, demand, and supply commitments to recommend planning scenarios.
• Create, release, monitor, maintain, and close production and process orders in SAP.
• Monitor execution data, material consumption, inventory movements, and master data to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
• Build production planning KPIs, dashboards, analytical tools, and automation using Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, and SAP analytics.
• Support continuous improvement, SOPs, change controls, CAPAs, audits, regulatory inspections, and SAP S/4HANA implementation activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience, an associate’s degree with 8 years, a bachelor’s degree with 4 years, a master’s degree with 2 years, or a doctorate.
• Experience in supply chain, production planning, manufacturing operations, manufacturing execution, or related functions.
• Strong SAP experience and knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and manufacturing execution.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing complex datasets and automating recurring activities.
• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, reporting solutions, and actionable business insights.
• Ability to solve problems, maintain data integrity, and collaborate across functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in biologics, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing operations.
• Experience with RapidResponse/Kinaxis, MES/WERUM, SAP S/4HANA, Master Data, CDOCS, TrackWise, or related systems.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, digital transformation, AI, or emerging digital technologies.
