Senior Acquisition Specialist (Defense Health)

Salary: USD 130,000–170,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide senior-level acquisition and program management support for Defense Health Agency medical product development programs.
• Apply DoDI 5000, Defense Acquisition System, PPBE, and capability requirements processes to acquisition planning and execution.
• Develop acquisition strategies, program plans, decision-support materials, milestone documentation, and cost analyses.
• Maintain integrated master schedules, Gantt charts, risk registers, change logs, decision logs, and action trackers.
• Support milestone reviews, testing, operational assessments, site visits, market research, technology transitions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Integrate defense acquisition requirements with the development of drugs, biologics, blood products, medical devices, and other regulated medical solutions.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• 10+ years of federal acquisition experience, including demonstrated DoD acquisition experience.
• Working knowledge of DoDI 5000, the Defense Acquisition System, PPBE, and capability requirements development.
• Experience with acquisition strategies, program documentation, schedules, milestone documentation, and LCCEs or other acquisition cost analyses.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and work with Government, industry, technical, medical, and regulatory stakeholders.
