Senior Aircraft Technician - MAR (Contract)

What you will do

• Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of aircraft parts and components.
• Conduct operational checks of complete aircraft systems and verify component functionality.
• Troubleshoot aircraft equipment, fire protection, fuel, hydraulic, landing gear, door, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor, power plant, and engine control systems.
• Participate in flight tests, document required work, and prepare aircraft for delivery inspections.
• Interface with customers during aircraft delivery and address issues identified during customer inspection.

Requirements

• At least six years of aviation maintenance experience, including experience working on helicopters.
• Current FAA A&P license or eligibility for a Repairman Certificate.
• General knowledge of standard aviation maintenance practices and troubleshooting methods.
• US Person status under ITAR is required, such as US citizenship, permanent residency, or coverage under an existing ITAR license.
• Ability to work onsite, travel independently at short notice, use required personal protective equipment, and lift equipment weighing up to 60 lb/28 kg.

Nice to have

• Safran Turbomeca engine experience.
• For a Repairman Certificate, 18 months of maintenance experience on hirify.global-manufactured helicopters.
