Senior Test Manager (T&E)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, supporting Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The role supports a U.S. Air Force Program Office and requires up to 25% travel.

What you will do

• Lead developmental and operational test and evaluation activities from requirements development through planning, execution, data analysis, evaluation, and reporting.
• Develop integrated test strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, test plans, evaluation frameworks, resource estimates, and schedules with Government test leads and Integrated Test Teams.
• Assess requirements, test readiness, system maturity, infrastructure needs, test risks, data quality, safety, security, and mission execution effectiveness.
• Coordinate test organizations, aircraft configurations, ranges, instrumentation, funding, contract support, and Integrated Master Schedule activities.
• Support Operational Flight Program development and testing, avionics subsystem and weapons integration, aircraft operations, aircrew interfaces, and systems integration.
• Lead technical interchange meetings, test working groups, program reviews, and coordination between the customer, program office, Air Force Test Center, and test organizations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least five years in DoD.
• Advanced knowledge of developmental and operational test methods, DoD systems engineering, configuration management, T&E policy, test risk management, and technical reporting.
• Experience with U.S. military aircraft, Operational Flight Program development and testing, avionics integration, weapons capabilities, and software development processes.
• Expertise in air-to-ground weapons integration, SEEK EAGLE stores certification, Non-Nuclear Munitions Safety Board processes, and flight-test data involving flutter, loads, stability and control, dynamic response, and stores separation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain T&E certifications up to Level 3 through Defense Acquisition University, as required by the performance work statement.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Tier 3 Top Secret security clearance.
