Technology Experimentation Analyst

Location: Alexandria, Virginia, USA; travel of 25% or more required

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 yearly

What you will do

• Prepare, set up, and execute technical and operational events, technology assessments, demonstrations, and tabletop exercises.
• Configure networks and systems, troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and support technology integration.
• Train participants in person and virtually using established curricula, and develop system familiarization and training materials.
• Support digital and automated data collection and reporting capabilities for assessment and demonstration events.
• Document outcomes, review test and demonstration data, and identify findings, challenges, opportunities, and recommendations.
• Communicate results to program stakeholders and collaborate with technical and program teams to improve experimentation activities.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, networking, information technology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a military unit, Department of Homeland Security operating unit, or similar operational environment.
• Experience with network and software troubleshooting and participation in technology assessments, demonstrations, evaluations, or experimentation activities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, analytical, adaptability, and prioritization skills.
