Senior SEO/GEO Specialist (Cybersecurity): Improving the discoverability, performance, and user experience of a global cybersecurity website with an accent on technical SEO, content optimization, analytics, and AI-powered search visibility. Focus on diagnosing crawlability and indexation issues, optimizing Core Web Vitals and structured data, and supporting multilingual SEO across international markets.
Location: Remote within the United States; hybrid schedule available for candidates in the Chicago, IL metro area.

What you will do
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, website performance, qualified traffic, and conversions.
- Partner with development teams on site architecture, crawlability, indexation, redirects, canonicalization, JavaScript rendering, sitemaps, robots.txt, duplicate content, and structured data.
- Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, URL strategy, taxonomy, navigation, and internal linking.
- Conduct keyword, search intent, competitive, and SERP research; create SEO briefs and content recommendations for website pages.
- Optimize on-page elements and existing content, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, links, image alt text, schema, and conversion-focused content.
- Analyze search performance and support traditional search, AI-powered search, international SEO, and multilingual initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience, including technical SEO.
- Strong knowledge of crawling, rendering, indexation, canonicalization, redirects, structured data, XML sitemaps, and internal linking.
- Experience creating SEO content briefs using keyword research, search intent, competitive analysis, and business objectives.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
- Experience with AI-search/GEO tools or monitoring brand visibility in LLM-generated results.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise, SaaS, cybersecurity, or B2B websites.
- International SEO or multilingual website experience.
- SEO automation, reporting, data analysis, schema, entity optimization, or content structure experience.
- Experience with WordPress or another enterprise content management system.
