Focus on auditing technical issues, guiding engineering fixes, protecting organic traffic during releases, and connecting SEO improvements to revenue.

What you will do
- Own technical SEO for 1800contacts.com and theFramery.com, including crawling, indexing, rendering, ranking, and organic revenue performance.
- Own server-side rendering for Angular sites and partner with engineering on rendering, hydration, routing, and indexation issues.
- Improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile experience, and page stability while measuring organic impact.
- Apply answer-engine optimization and AI optimization through content structure, structured data, and page-experience improvements.
- Audit robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonicals, status codes, pagination, faceted navigation, duplicate URLs, redirects, and internal linking.
- Use Google Search Console, crawl tools, log files, analytics, and release reviews to prioritize fixes and prevent SEO regressions.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on technical SEO experience on a large ecommerce or content site.
- Experience with server-side rendering, including Angular SSR or a closely applicable equivalent.
- Experience improving site speed and Core Web Vitals and connecting technical fixes to crawlability, indexation, traffic, and revenue.
- Working knowledge of AEO, AIO, AI search features, structured data, crawl and indexation controls, redirects, and rendering.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, a crawler such as Screaming Frog or Sitebulb, analytics, and log-file analysis.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly, document standards, and guide engineering through implementation and release.
Nice to have
- Experience with international or hreflang setups, large catalog sites, experimentation platforms, or SEO effects of A/B testing.
- Experience in retail, healthcare, or another regulated category.
