Location: Based in Charlotte, NC, United States; requires occasional on-site inspections of mechanical rooms, rooftops, ductwork, and other installation areas.

What you will do
- Review and close out project milestone packages containing sales and design plans, documentation, installation photos, and verification measures.
- Verify HVAC system performance, equipment configuration, installation quality, energy efficiency, and compliance with design specifications.
- Approve or reject project milestones, provide actionable feedback to contractors and partners, and resolve rejected submissions.
- Evaluate HVAC monitoring and control platforms for proper configuration and functionality.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and improve quality control processes and installation guidelines.
- Conduct and document site inspections and train junior Quality Control Technicians.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical or construction role within the HVAC industry.
- Experience with interdepartmental problem-solving or project management.
- Knowledge of HVAC system design, quality control standards, system operation criteria, and energy efficiency standards.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to influence third-party contractors.
- Proficiency with data analysis and standard business tools such as G-Suite or Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
