Sr. Affiliate Payment Ops Specialist (SaaS)

What you will do

• Own the complete payment lifecycle for affiliate commissions and contractual payments, from signed agreement through payout.
• Act as the primary contact for affiliates regarding commissions, endorsement contracts, payment questions, and disputes.
• Verify deliverables, review commission reports, approve payment accuracy, and resolve root causes before payout deadlines.
• Manage disputes, clawbacks, refunds, chargebacks, duplicate accounts, and self-referrals end to end.
• Apply affiliate policies and agreement terms while collaborating with Affiliate, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and compliance teams.
• Build documented SOPs, exception policies, calculation methodologies, and automated workflows for a repeatable payout process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commissions, partner or affiliate payouts, revenue operations, billing, or finance operations.
• Extensive experience running commission cycles end to end.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Hands-on experience with payment or vendor management platforms such as RAMP, Bill.com, Tipalti, or similar.
• Strong analytical judgment, written and verbal communication, accountability, and discretion with confidential financial information.
• Ability to explain complex financial situations clearly and handle difficult conversations about money, delays, prorations, and clawbacks.

Nice to have

• Affiliate or partner program experience, particularly in SaaS.
• Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms such as FirstPromoter.
• Exposure to FTC endorsement rules or partner program compliance.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits of payment or commission cycles.
