Senior Solutions Architect I, Pre-Sales - US Government Defense & Intelligence (Geospatial AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, Virginia, with work from the office 3 days per week; up to 25% travel required. This role supports US Government Defense and Intelligence customers.

Salary: $118,170–$147,690 USD base salary per year, plus potential short- and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver solution demonstrations and presentations showcasing satellite data and related services.
• Advise Defense and Intelligence customers on solution architectures addressing earth data challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with technical, management, and executive stakeholders in the US Federal Government.
• Prepare technical responses for tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and unsolicited proposals.
• Partner with sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development on account strategy and customer feedback.
• Mentor team members and lead technical training, workshops, and customer engagements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical experience supporting the US Defense and Intelligence community.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with GIS, remote sensing, IMINT, ISR, and geospatial users in the Defense industry.
• Experience with QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL, Python, geospatial software, APIs, imagery processing, and data pipelines.
• Ability to design scalable solutions, bridge business and technical requirements, and lead customer workshops and presentations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for a US Government TS/SCI security clearance is required.
