Salary: $145,000 - $185,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage production of propulsion subsystems including advanced welded assemblies for high-orbit satellites
• Design and build or source tooling and equipment for propulsion component manufacturing and assembly
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes that meet internal and external standards
• Manage factory infrastructure upgrades and maintenance
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver subsystems on time and quality expectations
• Assist in recruiting and hiring new team members

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, physics, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years industry experience in propulsion, space vehicles, or high-precision welding
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) with proven product delivery
• Passion for manufacturing and hands-on design/development in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage advanced manufacturing products
• Must be onsite 5 days a week

Nice to have

• Experience in Manufacturing, Weld, or Integration Engineering roles
• Experience with Robotic, Automated, or Orbital Tube Welding equipment
• Knowledge of precision welded assemblies, electric or chemical space propulsion systems
• Expertise in Machining, Welding, or Fixture/Tool & Die design
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Engineering Software (MES) or ERP systems
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of industry standards (AWS D17.1, MIL-STDs, AS/NAS specifications)
• Familiarity with Pressurized Systems and Reliability/Mission Assurance practices
