Sr. Pharmacy Innovation Specialist (Oncology)

Location: Remote in the United States; travel up to 15% required.

What you will do

• Drive pharmacy initiatives across partner oncology practices using project management, performance improvement, and change management methods.
• Design, pilot, optimize, and scale pharmacy services covering specialty pharmacy, medication access, oral oncolytics, infusion operations, cellular therapy, and supportive care.
• Partner with pharmacy leaders, pharmacists, technicians, physicians, nurses, and operational stakeholders to improve workflows and implement strategic priorities.
• Monitor program performance using analytical tools and data, identify opportunities, and develop action plans based on key performance indicators.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, workstreams, implementation checklists, standard operating procedures, training materials, and implementation toolkits.
• Assess new pharmacy programs, technologies, workflows, and vendor partnerships through business analysis and due diligence.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of healthcare experience in pharmacy operations, oncology, medication access, specialty pharmacy, healthcare project management, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; a healthcare-related field is preferred. A master's degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of project management, workflow optimization, process improvement, pharmacy operations, medication-use processes, and healthcare delivery workflows.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects, adapt to new technologies, and operate in a matrixed environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in an oncology practice, health system pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or infusion pharmacy.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician designation or pharmacy technician experience.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement experience.
• Experience collaborating with pharmacists, providers, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
