Software Quality Assurance Manager (Video Software)

Location: Onsite in Fort Collins, Colorado, United States, five days a week

Salary: $116,150–$182,400 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for US candidates.

What you will do

• Lead a team responsible for quality assurance and testing of an end-user video conferencing application and related systems software.
• Define QA processes, methodologies, best practices, and a comprehensive testing strategy.
• Plan and execute functional, solution, integration, regression, performance, load, and stress testing.
• Develop test scripts, automation, and integration activities using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Maintain test plans, test matrices, testing reports, and QA progress communications.
• Partner with developers, product managers, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to improve software quality and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Ability to work from the Fort Collins office five days per week.
• Four-year or graduate degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7–10 years of job-related experience or 5–7 years of management experience in software quality assurance, test harnesses, QA tools, or a related field.
• Experience with software testing, test automation, test planning, scripting, debugging, and API-related work.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, Jenkins, JIRA, TestRail, Python, security, SIP protocol, and video software.
• Ability to lead, coach, hire, and support the career development of QA team members.

Nice to have

• Certified Software Quality Engineer certification.
• Certified Associate in Software Quality certification.
• Certified Software Test Engineer certification.
• Experience with Copilot AI or an equivalent tool.
