Calibration Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan; on-site five days per week

Salary: $27.71 per hour

What you will do

• Calibrate electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments used in manufacturing.
• Inspect and maintain calibration tools and equipment.
• Document calibration data, prepare calibration certificates, and maintain compliance records.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust measurement and testing equipment.
• Ensure calibration activities meet ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering teams while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment or similar setting.
• Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Proficiency with calibration software and equipment, measurement principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• The position is safety-sensitive and may require additional drug screening.

• Certification from NIST, ASQ, or another recognized organization.
