Production Test Technician (RF)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States

Salary: $32.21–$50.96 per hour; $40.14–$60.34 per hour for specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and debug RF devices down to the component level.
• Run tests on production products, report results, and perform data analysis.
• Install, set up, tune, and maintain RF test systems and specialized test equipment.
• Support qualification testing and transition prototype units to high-rate production.
• Assist with lab management, technical issue resolution, and field-related problem solving.
• Prepare and maintain assembly drawings, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and acceptance test procedures.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience in electronics or RF testing.
• An associate degree in a technical field or equivalent RF testing experience.
• Experience testing electronic products and reading schematics and electronic circuits.
• Familiarity with common test equipment and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to follow test procedures and complete required documentation.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a United States Top Secret Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing RF devices.
• Hands-on experience with RF test setups.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers.
