Project Manager Data Analytics Lead

Location: Washington, D.C.; remote work expected, with periodic travel to U.S. and overseas locations for program activities, customer meetings, and operations.

What you will do

• Lead data collection, management, modeling, analysis, visualization, and reporting for the VA Transition Assistance Program.
• Develop performance measurement and program evaluation frameworks covering service delivery, outcomes, pilots, and modernization initiatives.
• Integrate quantitative and qualitative information from VA, the Department of Labor, the Department of War, GIS sources, and other interagency partners.
• Conduct gap analyses, SWOT analyses, data mapping, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other analytical studies.
• Develop dashboards, monthly and ad hoc reports, executive briefings, and decision-support products.
• Translate complex findings into strategic action plans and recommendations for TAP leadership and coordinate analytics activities with program and government stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience managing complex data analytics, performance measurement, program evaluation, or decision-support initiatives for large-scale programs.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting similar initiatives within the Federal Government or Department of War.
• Experience managing government program data and preparing analytical products, executive-level reports, briefings, and documentation.
• Ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative information and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Strong project management, analytical, written communication, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with VA benefits programs, military transition programs, or veteran services.
• Experience developing performance measurement, program evaluation, or continuous-improvement frameworks.
• Experience with executive dashboards, data visualizations, GIS, or geospatial analysis.
• Experience integrating interagency data or analyzing surveys, interviews, focus groups, gap analyses, and SWOT analyses.
• Experience supporting strategic planning, program modernization, pilot evaluation, or continuous improvement.
