Facilities Maintenance Team Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: 101 Industrial Drive, New Bern, North Carolina, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Maintain safe, clean, reliable, and available production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and modify electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine control systems.
• Identify operating difficulties and collaborate with maintenance and controls engineers on equipment and process improvements.
• Complete preventive maintenance, repairs, facilities projects, work orders, equipment assemblies, and required documentation.
• Perform fabrication work using machine shop equipment, welding, soldering, plasma cutting, sheet metal, and related tools.
• Mentor and train maintenance personnel while coordinating continuity across shifts.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a maintenance-related field is preferred.
• At least five years of related experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of plant systems, infrastructure, utilities, drawings, schematics, and machine controls.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Electrical license is preferred.
• Internal applicants must meet the stated bid, disciplinary, UTO, and eligibility requirements; a 90-day probationary period applies.
