Accounting Analyst Senior (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end customer billing and accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and direct debits.
• Monitor billing exceptions, support revenue accruals, and reconcile billing activity with the NetSuite financial system.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare internal and external financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit work papers.
• Create and use automated tools to update, analyze, and report financial results.
• Cross-train with finance staff to maintain backup coverage, audit readiness, and segregation of duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• Accounting background or degree preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, general ledger, and financial and accounting systems.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Accuracy, attention to detail, effective communication, decision-making, and risk management skills.
