Operating Model Consultant (Health & Life Sciences)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid working requires being in the office or on a client site a minimum of 2 days per week, with assignments potentially requiring up to 5 days per week on a client site.

Salary range: $115,800–$121,900 per year.

What you will do

• Design future-state operating models, organizational structures, governance, capabilities, and ways of working.
• Analyze complex business challenges and develop recommendations, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops with operational teams and executive leadership.
• Assess organizational capabilities, operating models, and ways of working to identify performance and transformation opportunities.
• Support high-impact transformation initiatives across pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and healthcare organizations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in consulting, health and life sciences, transformation, business analysis, organizational design, strategy, or a related industry role.
• Experience supporting clinical, R&D, medical, regulatory, commercial, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and insights.
• Experience with operating models, organizational design, governance, capability and process design, enterprise transformation, change delivery, product ownership, or agile ways of working.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or patient-centered operating models.
• Experience in clinical development, R&D, or commercial transformation.
