Early Careers - Security Data Classification Intern

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with a minimum of three office days per week

Base pay: $19.13–$34.17

What you will do

• Participate in a formal ten-week paid internship supporting security data classification and business objectives.
• Own components of project deliverables with guidance from a mentor and manager.
• Research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on analytics, data, and solution-development initiatives.
• Support departmental initiatives that improve business and member or client outcomes.
• Present the project, results, and recommendations to department leadership.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree as a rising senior, preferably in data analytics, computer science, or information technology; other majors may be considered.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Available for the full ten-week program.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and data-quality skills, with practical experience using Excel, Word, or Access.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience in data architecture, high-volume data integration, programming, systems analysis, application design, application configuration, or artificial intelligence networks.
• Interest in healthcare and regulated environments.
