Mid Level Data Analyst (Cyber Analytics)

What you will do

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative evaluations of high-impact national security programs.
• Extract and analyze operational and programmatic data from enterprise databases and record systems.
• Build advanced Excel models and interactive Power BI reports with tables and visualizations for executive briefings.
• Write executive briefing papers, white papers, memos, policy updates, status papers, classification evaluations, MOUs, and formal responses.
• Brief senior management on program status, operational milestones, resource constraints, and courses of action.
• Coordinate with FBI divisions, manage tasking records, and document stakeholder meetings, action items, and follow-up requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of expert-level federal government experience in intelligence, defense, or law enforcement, leading complex projects under aggressive deadlines.
• 3+ years working in an Executive Staff-level environment and advising senior leadership.
• 3+ years researching, analyzing, and authoring policy drafts, program status papers, classification reviews, MOUs, and executive or interagency analytical products.
• 3+ years connecting operational outcomes with fiscal goals and federal budgetary principles.
• 3+ years using Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint lists or workflows for analysis and briefing support.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to undergo an FBI suitability determination and polygraph are required. A relevant professional writing sample is also required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s, MBA, or master’s degree in Economics, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or a related analytical or quantitative discipline.
• 5 years using Excel for advanced quantitative and analytical modeling.
• 5 years of experience with federal PPBE processes, resource allocation, and program evaluation methodologies.
• 5 years writing resource justifications, congressional budget justifications, and formal responses for Congressional, OMB, DOJ, and ODNI audiences.
