Intermediate Network Engineer (Cisco)

What you will do

• Stage, install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches and Aruba wireless controllers across LAN and data center environments.
• Support WAN infrastructure, including BGP neighbor configurations and connectivity over copper, fiber, and wireless networks.
• Support AWS network architectures using IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, RDS, SSM, ElasticSearch, and Lambda.
• Configure Palo Alto firewall security features, including App-ID, User-ID, GlobalProtect, WildFire, NAT policies, and security profiles.
• Manage AAA with RADIUS, PKI authentication and certificate management, network monitoring with SolarWinds, and ticket resolution in ServiceNow.
• Maintain network documentation, asset inventories, STIG compliance, and infrastructure performance and availability.

Requirements

• Five years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Experience supporting technical infrastructure, hardware, system software, and multiple platforms for mid- to large-sized projects.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS environments through the AWS administrator portal.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance-tuning skills.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6 subnetting, DHCP, TFTP, SCP/SSH, access lists, and Layer 2 protocols including LLDP, STP, VTP, VLAN, LACP, and 802.1q.
• Required certifications: IAT Level II and CCNA or another Cisco certification.
