Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)

Location: Newport News, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $105,199.68–$175,856.18 annually; the posting also lists $1,000 under Salary.

What you will do

• Perform complex systems engineering tasks and lead technical teams supporting aircraft and weapons integration programs.
• Develop requirements, integration plans, technical documentation, and lifecycle engineering deliverables.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain behavioral, structural, and parametric models for system design and integration.
• Prepare engineering analyses, reports, specifications, technical reviews, design data, and change proposals.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support successful system integration.
• Track program requirements and performance metrics, manage the systems engineering process, and represent the program at reviews, meetings, and test events.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, master’s degree with 6–8 years, or PhD with 3–5 years.
• Expert-level knowledge of systems engineering and model-based systems engineering.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements analysis, interface definition, risk management, and technical documentation.
• Experience with one or more of NoMagic, MagicDraw, Cameo, SysML, UPDM, or IBM Rhapsody.
• Ability to work independently, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with subject-matter experts, peers, managers, and customers.
