Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Develop authoritative engineering models and digital architectures for complex defense systems and systems of systems.
• Model system architectures and behaviors using SysML and Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
• Develop and maintain models, engineering artifacts, and integrated datasets.
• Analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, software developers, external contractors, and government customers.
• Produce and present technical documentation and engineering artifacts.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s degree in engineering or related certification such as OCSMP, INCOSE CSEP, or PMP.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SysML, including SysML 2.0, and proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
• Experience with DoDAF, UAF, or other architecture frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense systems and processes.
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation tools and practices.
