Head of Marketing Compliance (Crypto)

What you will do

• Lead and scale the marketing compliance function.
• Design and implement a global compliance framework covering advertising, promotions, social media, influencers, affiliates, and product launch communications.
• Develop policies, procedures, and review and approval processes for CeFi and DeFi marketing activities.
• Establish post-publication monitoring, campaign lookbacks, and controls for marketing materials and external communications.
• Use AI-enabled solutions to build scalable marketing compliance controls and track, report, and remediate incidents.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams, monitor regulatory developments, and deliver compliance training.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in compliance, legal, or marketing compliance, ideally within financial services or fintech.
• Deep understanding of marketing regulations across the US, UK, EU, and APAC.
• Experience in crypto, blockchain, or digital assets, including familiarity with CeFi and DeFi ecosystems.
• Proven ability to build compliance frameworks and controls from scratch.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with regulatory bodies, audits, or examinations and in high-growth technology or startup environments.
