Senior Designer (Retail/Consumer)

Location: Hybrid in London or Birmingham, England, United Kingdom; up to 40% from home. After 12 months, the role may be performed from abroad for up to 90 days per year.

What you will do

• Develop creative concepts and polished design solutions from brief through final execution.
• Create work across campaigns, social, digital, CRM, content, print and physical or retail environments.
• Translate core ideas and established brand identities across formats while strengthening visual expression.
• Design social-first content that reflects platform behaviours, pacing and format requirements.
• Present creative thinking, own briefs and respond constructively to creative direction.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, copywriters, strategists, social teams, producers and other specialists.

Requirements

• Significant design experience in an agency, in-house creative team or similarly fast-moving environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design craft, conceptual thinking, typography, layout, image-making and visual communication.
• Experience with recognised B2C retail or consumer brands and multiple channels, including social, digital, CRM, campaigns, print and physical or retail environments.
• Strong social design experience, with an understanding of social as a creative channel rather than a campaign adaptation format.
• Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Understanding of motion and moving-image design, strong communication skills and the ability to manage briefs through polished delivery.
