Production Artist (Packaging & Print)

Location: Remote from the UK or Europe. Flexible hours with availability during afternoon and early evening hours in the local time zone for overlap with U.S. colleagues and vendors.

What you will do

• Translate packaging and print designs into clean, technically accurate, press-ready files.
• Apply dielines, manage layers, prepare production formats, and convert Figma layouts into print-ready assets.
• Perform final quality checks covering alignment, proportions, margins, typography, color, materials, and vendor specifications.
• Support proofing, pre-press, and press-check processes while troubleshooting with internal and external production partners.
• Own packaging file management, production templates, dieline guides, documentation, and onboarding materials.
• Manage the brand font rollout across packaging, collateral, and print templates, collaborating with graphic, structural, industrial, CMF, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in print and packaging production design.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Strong working knowledge of Figma and the ability to translate digital designs into print-ready files.
• Deep understanding of print production, packaging materials, color management, dielines, and U.S.-based print standards and vendor workflows.
• Experience managing vendors, printers, packaging suppliers, templates, fonts, and large sets of production files.
• Comfort with flexible scheduling, asynchronous communication, self-direction, and cross-time-zone collaboration.
