Product Architect (AI)

Salary: $208,000–$286,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Define Auth0’s strategy for building, operating, and securing AI agents and agentic applications.
• Shape capabilities for agent authentication, delegated authority, resource access, trust, consent, and auditable boundaries.
• Design secure access to APIs, tools, data services, and MCP servers for authorized agents.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Privacy, Trust, Developer Relations, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to turn strategy into platform capabilities.
• Work with strategic customers and partners to validate product direction and solve complex AI identity problems.
• Build prototypes, reference implementations, and technical demonstrations using Node.js, React, Python, and Go.

Requirements

• Significant experience in product architecture, technical product management, software architecture, platform engineering, or a comparable customer- and technology-facing leadership role.
• Experience building and shipping AI-powered applications, agentic systems, developer tools, or platforms.
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, workload identity, token exchange, delegated authorization, API authorization, and related identity protocols.
• Strong understanding of secure access to APIs, tools, data, and services in distributed systems, including MCP and agent-to-agent interactions.
• Ability to develop strategy in ambiguous markets, influence across organizational boundaries, and communicate technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong software development skills in one or more of Node.js/TypeScript, React, Python, or Go.

Nice to have

• Participation in identity, security, AI, or agent standards organizations and open-source projects.
• Experience with developer-facing identity products, authorization policy systems, fine-grained authorization, consent, entitlements, or delegated access.
• Experience building MCP servers, AI agent platforms, AI-enabled workflows, or agent-to-agent systems.
• Experience with cloud security, workload identity, zero trust, API gateways, or secure software supply chains.
