Developer Experience Engineer (AI)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid

Salary: HUF 1.8M–HUF 2.2M per month

What you will do

• Design and build an AI-assisted software development lifecycle review pipeline covering risk triage, security, quality, and architecture reviews.
• Build and maintain deployment gates that block known critical vulnerabilities across all deployment surfaces.
• Extend the shared engineering data layer for repository ownership, security, and quality information.
• Instrument the pipeline and track review turnaround, gate coverage, false-positive rates, and cost per run.
• Develop logging and audit capabilities for AI-assisted and AI-delegated work.
• Partner with security, quality engineering, and platform teams on adoption, documentation, and self-service runbooks.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience building and operating CI/CD systems, developer tooling, or platform infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable pipeline systems, plus Git and GitHub API experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or Ruby.
• Experience integrating security scanning into pipelines and designing effective deployment gates.
• Experience working with data from multiple sources and making it queryable.
• Production experience building with large language models, including agents or automated workflows, prompt design, tool use, and output evaluation.
