Investment Specialist, Fixed Income Product Management (Fixed Income)

Location: London, United Kingdom; employees work from the office 4 days a week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day a week.

What you will do

• Assess business opportunities, lead business planning, and contribute to the development of fixed income products and investment solutions.
• Create communication strategies and materials that differentiate investment strategies and portfolios from competitors.
• Provide portfolio oversight through analysis of positioning, performance, risk exposures, investment integrity, and risk management processes.
• Manage risk, capacity, pricing, guidelines, product overlap, and capacity trends.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis and prepare white papers and presentation materials.
• Work with investment teams, Investment Directors, sales and relationship management colleagues, clients, prospects, and consultants.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a similar buy-side or related function.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fixed income markets and investment strategies.
• Strong portfolio and market analysis skills, with the ability to frame issues, identify key points, and draw conclusions.
• Strong academic background, ideally including a postgraduate or professional qualification such as a master’s degree or CFA, or progress toward one.
• Excellent organizational, project management, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Business judgment, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
