Manager - International Settlements (Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a multi-level team of associates, senior associates, and supervisors.
• Oversee end-to-end settlement processes across EMEA markets, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and risk mitigation.
• Own critical management settlement tasks, sign-offs, escalations, and operational outcomes.
• Set operational strategy and priorities in alignment with broader business objectives.
• Manage operational and settlement risks, controls, governance, audit, and regulatory deliverables.
• Drive automation, process redesign, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in capital markets operations, including settlements and trade support.
• Experience leading teams and delivering operational objectives in complex, high-volume environments.
• Deep knowledge of trade settlement lifecycles across multiple asset classes and EMEA settlement practices.
• Strong risk and control management, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power BI, plus experience with Euroclear, Clearstream, CREST, or similar settlement platforms.
