What you will do

• Manage client portfolios and support Investment Directors with a large private client bank.
• Communicate with clients, provide investment reports and portfolio updates, and support day-to-day enquiries.
• Provide investment advice appropriate to client needs and compliant with applicable rules, regulations, and internal policies.
• Participate in portfolio management, including suitable day-to-day trading and investment decision-making.
• Maintain client documentation, suitability records, and up-to-date know-your-client information.
• Support tender processes, client relationship management, and the growth of the existing and personal client book.

Requirements

• Deep interest in and understanding of financial markets.
• Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the business.
• Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Ability to work in line with FCA rules, including AML, suitability, market abuse prevention, and Treating Customers Fairly requirements.
• The role includes certified functions requiring qualifications and client dealing under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.
