HO Production Quality Space (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe, Madrid, Spain. Hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Lead the Production Quality Department at the Space Systems plant in Getafe and manage a team of approximately 25 people across quality assurance, inspection, and conformity activities.
• Set team objectives, contribute to plant management and continuous improvement, and act as the main Production Quality contact for business areas and stakeholders.
• Manage the annual €3.5M budget, prepare S&OP and quality budget inputs, and produce executive summaries and KPIs.
• Coordinate quality activities across eight production areas, including composites, machining, assembly, satellite integration and testing, and launcher assembly.
• Drive preventive quality practices, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, quality authorizations, operational oversight, and quality documentation.
• Ensure product certification, receiving inspections, non-destructive testing, cost-of-quality improvements, and support for EN 9100 and other internal and external audits.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or a related technical discipline such as physics or chemistry.
• Previous experience in a Quality department or close collaboration with Quality teams.
• At least two years of experience managing teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, change management, results orientation, and goal-focused execution.
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
