Senior Product Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is building a finance and monetization platform for the next generation of AI products, focused on usage-based billing, programmable pricing, real-time metering, and developer-controlled monetization.

What you will do

• Own product development end to end, from identifying opportunities through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Build intuitive developer experiences across interfaces, APIs, and abstractions for billing and monetization workflows.
• Develop and evolve production software across frontend and backend systems.
• Ship improvements quickly while maintaining reliability, performance, quality, and attention to detail.
• Work directly with merchants to understand pain points and translate feedback into product improvements.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience building, shipping, and evolving production software.
• Deep expertise in at least one part of the stack and the ability to work confidently across frontend and backend systems.
• Strong product judgement, design sensibility, and focus on developer experience.
• High ownership, autonomy, pragmatic execution, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Commitment to clean APIs, robust backend logic, thoughtful interactions, edge-case handling, and performance.
• Ability to work across TypeScript, React, Effect, Python, FastAPI, Dramatiq, Postgres, ClickHouse, and AWS as relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, billing, or developer tools.
• Open-source contributions or side projects.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining ownership of the code and engineering decisions.
