Senior Fullstack AI Engineer (React/Node.js)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Turn product opportunities and agreed scope into working products and testable releases.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and data handling.
• Build frontend experiences using React or a comparable framework.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows across development, testing, validation, and product capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to use data, user insights, and hypotheses to validate outcomes.
• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, maintenance, performance, reliability, and production operations.

Requirements

• Senior-level engineering expertise in frontend development, backend development, or both.
• Hands-on experience with React or a comparable frontend framework and Node.js with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations, handling data, making architecture trade-offs, and delivering reliable software.
• Experience with automated testing, debugging, production monitoring, and taking responsibility for released software.
• Experience using AI across substantial parts of product delivery, including structuring work for AI, evaluating results, and verifying production outcomes.
• Experience working in a cross-functional product organisation with product managers and designers.

Nice to have

• Backend services or systems experience with Rust or Python.
• AWS and distributed, event-driven, or serverless systems experience.
• Automated delivery pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Mobile development, experimentation tooling, or user experience metrics optimisation.
• Experience integrating AI/ML products and incorporating user feedback signals.
