Production Unit Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Springtown, United Kingdom. This is a full-time onsite role with 12-hour day and night shifts, averaging 42 hours per week.

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, mentor, and manage up to 35 Manufacturing Specialists.
• Communicate goals, provide feedback, and support training and development in a high-performance team environment.
• Maintain safe working practices, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with operating procedures.
• Manage production bottlenecks, adapt plans to changing priorities, and coordinate timely cross-functional responses.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards across the manufacturing facility.
• Build cross-departmental relationships and promote continuous improvement across the team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a high-performing team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong people-management profile.
• At least 2–3 years of manufacturing and/or management experience.
• Experience managing teams against goals and targets in a pressured work environment.
• Experience in continuous improvement and HR management responsibilities.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK without employer sponsorship.
