Technical Trainer (Data Analytics)

Location: Home-based in the UK with occasional travel to the London office or client sites. Applicants must be currently based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Deliver data analytics curriculum across apprenticeship programmes and bespoke corporate training engagements.
• Lead practical workshops covering Python, Pandas, NumPy, forecasting, machine learning, SQL, and data visualisation.
• Teach learners to develop predictive insights, identify KPIs, communicate data stories, and translate analysis into business strategy.
• Facilitate primarily virtual training while travelling to client sites or hubs for face-to-face workshops when requested.
• Work with Product Managers to improve learning resources, create practical Python and machine learning scenarios, and keep materials current.
• Apply quality standards and maintain expertise across the modern Python data stack and workplace analytics practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience applying Python to data analysis, particularly Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience building and teaching predictive models and machine learning workflows, including regression, clustering, and classification with Scikit-Learn.
• Practical knowledge of forecasting and temporal data analysis.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, and data extraction techniques.
• Ability to teach data storytelling and translate statistical or programmatic insights into accessible business strategy.
• Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical operational staff.

Nice to have

• Commercial experience applying data analytics and machine learning techniques.
• Background in statistical testing, experimental design, or advanced probability.
• Experience with data pipelines, workflow orchestration, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Snowflake, BigQuery, or cloud-based data pipelines.
• Formal teaching or training qualification, such as PGCE or QTS, or substantial enterprise facilitation experience.

Hiring process

• Stage 1: 15–20-minute screening interview with the Talent Team.
