Senior Backend Developer (Oracle): Building and optimizing scalable backend systems, data workflows, and batch-processing solutions for digital banking with an accent on Oracle, Talend, PL/SQL, and large-scale data management. Focus on maintaining legacy systems, integrating Java and Angular technologies, managing data integrity and security, and delivering reliable solutions through CI/CD pipelines.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do
- Develop and optimize backend systems using Oracle, Talend, and PL/SQL.
- Design data workflows and batch-processing solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain legacy systems and integrate Java and Angular for interface enhancements.
- Manage large data volumes while ensuring data integrity, security, performance, and reliability.
- Support delivery through CI/CD pipelines, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Respond to unplanned requests and solve complex technical challenges proactively.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of backend development experience.
- Strong Oracle expertise, preferably including Exadata Cloud at Customer.
- Professional experience with Talend, PL/SQL, and batch development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and large-scale data management.
- English at a communicative level and French with a good command are required.
- Existing legal authorization to work in the European Union is required.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Java and Angular.
- DevOps or related certifications.
- Experience in banking or financial services.
