Device Software Product Director (AI)

What you will do

• Lead a large, globally distributed engineering organization responsible for embedded device software.
• Direct the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of embedded software releases.
• Drive software quality and reliability through automated testing, simulator enablement, documentation, observability, and defect reduction.
• Partner with hardware, firmware platform, solutions, QA, and program stakeholders to manage dependencies and deliver predictable NPI execution.
• Advance engineering modernization through AI-enabled practices, automation, golden paths, modern tools, and improved developer experience.
• Develop leaders and teams, manage budgets and resources, and support the transition of engineering work to Singapore and other strategic sites.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in engineering design, engineering tools, software packages, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile methodology, automation, CI/CD, software development, software engineering, and the software development life cycle.
• Knowledge of AI and the ability to apply strategic thinking, prioritization, customer centricity, resilience, and team management.
• Ability to influence company direction across multiple disciplines and areas of the business.
