QA Test Engineer (Test Automation)

Location: Hybrid work from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa, with 3 days per week from the office

Salary: 900–1,100 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for front-end and back-end applications.
• Collaborate with developers, manual testers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to support high-quality software delivery.
• Reduce manual testing through effective automation and improve test coverage and QA processes.
• Execute and maintain performance tests using JMeter.
• Prepare test data, analyze and document results, investigate defects, and support debugging.
• Contribute to QA best practices across Agile delivery teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong experience in web/UI, API/REST, functional, automated functional, and performance testing.
• Solid Java programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Rest-Assured, Postman, Maven, and Chrome DevTools.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Bamboo, and test management tools.
• General testing knowledge equivalent to ISTQB Foundation Level and the ability to drive QA activities in Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in manual testing and mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, and CSV data formats.
• Experience with BDD and Gherkin.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
