Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid working mode with the ability to commute to the Barcelona office a couple of times a week if needed. Up to three months of work from anywhere per year is available. Candidates must have EU citizenship or an EU work permit, or be open to relocating to Spain.

Salary: €65,000–€70,000 annually, with final compensation based on experience and performance.

What you will do

• Define, implement, and maintain cloud-based server and database infrastructure managed with Kubernetes.
• Manage infrastructure as code and own the Terraform-based infrastructure approach.
• Own proactive infrastructure monitoring using Datadog.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with development teams.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, compliant, scalable, and aligned with product direction.
• Mentor engineers, collaborate with technical leadership, and drive infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• Significant experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and Datadog.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Experience creating and managing pipelines and workflows with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously, lead initiatives, and contribute to infrastructure strategy.
• EU citizenship or an EU work permit, or willingness to relocate to Spain; ability to commute to the Barcelona office when needed.
